Some Once And Future Things

Within these pages you will find a new Torchbearer 2e class, the human Spækona. A spækona is a seeress; a woman who is thought to see somewhat into the future. We have taken some liberties in interpretation, as one must, and in Torchbearer a spækona is one whose soul is somewhat unbound from the body, existing also in the lives of many long-dead, and occasionally overshooting the present to view what will come. Spækona are always women; the advanced science of the Torchbearer setting does not have an explanation for this, and in fact denies it because no one actually understands what is going on with a spækona and probably denies such a phenomenon is even possible, and some spækona of course were assigned male at birth and we all know how that goes. 

To accompany the Spækona we have added portions extracted from a noxious brew containing the essences of time mixed with leftover bits we pilfered from fantasies, legends, life, and other role playing games. All non-class material is also well suited for play without a Spækona.
